Use Bulk Changes when you need to update multiple employees in the same payroll at once, for example applying a cost-of-living increase across a team, or updating several employees' bank details after a company-wide change. For a single employee, use the individual employee profile flow instead.
What Bulk Changes can be used for
Pay element and compensation updates
Address changes
Bank detail updates
Employee terminations
Bulk Changes is an additional option, not a replacement. You can still submit changes for one employee at a time from the employee profile whenever that's easier.
How to submit bulk changes
Go to the Payroll module
Select the payroll you want to update
Click Actions, then select Bulk Changes
Choose the cycle type: Regular or Off-Cycle
Select the exact cycle the changes should apply to, then click Next
Download the Excel template
Fill in the required changes for each employee in the template
Re-upload the completed template
Review the changes, then submit
Once submitted, the system processes all changes from the uploaded file.
What happens after you submit
Submitted changes are applied to the relevant payroll cycle if submitted before the input due date
Some changes may require additional review by Remote People
Keep in mind: changes submitted after cutoff may be delayed, and some changes can't be edited once payroll processing has begun. If you're unsure whether a change will make the current cycle, contact us before the input due date.
