How to Submit Your Resignation Through the Remote People Platform

Remote People manages the resignation process in compliance with local labor laws and your employment agreement.

If you decide to resign from your position, you can submit your resignation directly through the Remote People platform. Once submitted, the Remote People team will guide you through the next steps and support you throughout the transition process.

Before You Submit Your Resignation

Before submitting your resignation, please review your employment agreement to confirm your required notice period and any resignation requirements that may apply in your country.

How to Submit Your Resignation

Step 1: Log In to the Remote People Platform

Log in to your Remote People account using your credentials.

Once logged in, navigate to My Profile.

Step 2: Open the Actions Menu

In your profile, click the Actions button to view the available options.

Step 3: Select “Resign”

From the dropdown menu, select Resign to begin the resignation process.


Step 4: Confirm Your Resignation

Select your intended end date.

Please ensure your selected date complies with the notice period stated in your employment agreement.

To complete the submission:

  • Tick the confirmation checkbox

  • Click Confirm

Once submitted, your resignation request will be sent directly to the Remote People team.

What Happens After Submission?

After your resignation is submitted, Remote People will:

  • Contact you directly to confirm your resignation details

  • Review your intended final working day

  • Ensure all legal and contractual requirements are followed

  • Coordinate with you and your client company to support a smooth transition process
