Command Centre: Your AI Assistant on the Remote People Platform

What is Command Centre?

Command Centre is an AI-powered assistant built into the Remote People platform. Instead of clicking through multiple screens to manage HR tasks, you can simply describe what you need in plain language.

It's designed to help with the everyday HR and administrative work that comes up when managing a global team, including salary and contract changes, onboarding and offboarding, leave requests, expense reports, invoicing, and generating employment documents. When a request falls outside what Command Centre can complete directly, it guides you through opening a support ticket with the Remote People team.

For example, "increase Jan's salary by 5,000 PLN effective July" and Command Centre will guide you through the rest.

Who is it for?

Command Centre is available to anyone using the Remote People platform, and it adapts to your role automatically. What you see and what you're able to do through Command Centre always matches your existing permissions on the platform, so you'll only be offered actions and information that you're already authorized to access. This means employers, managers, and employees can all use the same assistant, each within the boundaries of their own account access.

How does it work?

  1. Describe your request. Type what you need in everyday language, just as you would explain it to a person. For example, "submit a leave request for next week" or "increase Jan's salary effective July."

  2. Provide any missing details. If Command Centre needs more information to complete the request (such as an effective date, a reason, or a specific employee name) it will ask you through a short, simple form rather than a long questionnaire.

  3. Review the summary. Before anything is changed or submitted, Command Centre shows you a clear summary of what's about to happen, including a before-and-after comparison where relevant (for example, current salary versus new salary).

  4. Confirm to proceed. Nothing is finalized until you review and confirm the summary yourself.

  5. Command Centre completes the request. Once you confirm, it carries out the action on your behalf.

  6. Track it anytime. Every request you make, along with its outcome, is saved to a task history, so you can review past actions or pick up a request you started earlier but didn't finish.

Human oversight is always part of the process. For sensitive actions, Command Centre automatically routes your request to the relevant Remote People team for review before anything is processed.

What can Command Centre help with?

A quick example

A typical interaction might look like this: you tell Command Centre you'd like to submit a leave request, it asks for the dates and leave type, shows you a summary to confirm, and once you approve it, the request is submitted and logged all within the same conversation.

When Command Centre can’t action a request directly

Command Centre is built around actionable tasks. If it cannot complete a request on its own — for example, because the task requires human review or falls outside its current capabilities — it will open a support ticket with the Remote People team directly from the platform.

This creates a real support ticket on your behalf, not just a drafted email. Once the ticket is open, all follow-up updates arrive the same way as any regular ticket — typically by email — so you can track progress without having to return to Command Centre.
