Who to Contact: Your Employer vs. RemotePeople

A quick guide for employees on when to contact their employer versus Remote People.

If you've used a Remote People-powered platform before, for example through an EOR arrangement, note that Global Payroll works differently: your employer, not Remote People, is your legal employer. That changes who you should go to for most things.

Here's a quick guide to who handles what.

Contact your employer (Admin/HR) for...

Contact Remote People for...

Your employment contract, salary, benefits, and other terms of employment

Help using the Remote People platform

Requesting changes to your personal, bank, or address details

Trouble accessing your payslips or documents

Resigning or otherwise ending your contract

Technical issues activating your account

Questions about your job, manager, or day-to-day workplace matters

Not sure who to go to?

Start with your employer's Admin/HR team. They can loop in Remote People if it turns out to be a platform issue. For anything related to using the platform itself, use the Help option in the bottom-right corner to search articles or submit a request.
