In Spain, routine medical check-ups for employees are not mandatory by default. However, under the Prevention of Occupational Hazards Law (Ley de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales), employers are obligated to offer this service if requested by the employee. At Remote People, we are committed to ensuring the health and well-being of all employees. We work with CESA Prevención, a certified local occupational health provider, to deliver medical check-ups and other workplace safety services.
What's Included in the Medical Check-Up
When requested, employees will receive a comprehensive health check-up that includes: general medical examination; blood extraction; complementary tests as required.
How to Request a Medical Check-Up
Employees or clients can request a medical check-up at any time. The process is simple:
Contact Remote People Support: Employees should email our support team at support@joinhorizons.com to express interest in a health check-up.
Appointment Coordination: Remote People will coordinate with CESA Prevención to arrange an appointment at a nearby medical center, based on the employee's location and availability.
Confirmation: The employee will receive details about the appointment, including time, location, and preparation instructions.
Cost and Coverage
Medical check-ups are fully covered under the service agreement between Remote People and our clients.
