Religious Holiday Entitlements
Employees belonging to Christian denominations other than the Orthodox Church are entitled to two additional paid days off per major religious holiday.
Additional Notes
Some public sector employees may have additional days off around major holidays.
Working on a public holiday requires granting equivalent time off within 30 days or paying a supplement of at least 100% of the base salary.
Employers must ensure public holidays and any bridge days are properly recorded in payroll and scheduling systems.
