How to Submit a Payment Request

You can submit a payment request directly through the Remote People platform.

Follow the steps below to create and submit your request.


​Step 1: Log in to the Remote People Platform

  1. Log in to your Remote People account.

  2. From your dashboard, navigate to the My Payments section.

Step 2: Create a New Payment Request

  1. Click New Payment Request.

  2. Enter the Payment Details

Provide the required information for the request, such as:

  • Client

  • Payment Type (Milestone, Hourly, Daily)

  • Rate

  • Description or notes explaining the payment

Make sure all details are accurate before clicking Request Payment.

How quickly will I receive payments?
We will release payments as quickly as 3-5 days after having received funds by the client. You can view the real-time status of the payment requests under Status in your My Payments section:

  • Pending Approval – The client has not yet paid the invoice. We can only send funds after receiving full payment from the client.

  • Payment in Progress– Payment has been received by Remote People and is being processed. You can expect to receive the funds within 2–3 business days.

  • Paid - Payment has been completed.

How can I delete a payment request?
You can delete all payment requests with the Status Pending Approval by clicking on the bin icon on the right next to the Status and selecting Delete in the pop-up.
Payments with a different Status can't be deleted, because they are already in process.
