As part of the Remote People global employment network, you are joining a growing number of professionals working under the Employer of Record (EOR) model.
Who You Work With
As an EOR employee, your experience is shaped by two entities:
Remote People is your legal and administrative employer. We handle all the behind-the-scenes work: payroll, taxes, contracts, benefits, and employment compliance in your country.
The Client Company is your operational manager. This is the company that selected you for your skills and talents. They will assign your daily work, manage your performance, and integrate you into their team.
What Remote People Does for You
Remote People ensures that you are employed legally and compliantly in your country of residence. We take care of:
Employment Contracts: You’ll receive a legally binding agreement with all the necessary terms and protections under local law.
Payroll and Taxes: We ensure that you are paid accurately and on time, with proper tax deductions and social contributions.
Statutory Benefits and Contributions: We manage your eligibility for things like healthcare, pensions, and paid time off, according to the laws in your country.
Compliance: We stay up to date with local labor laws so that you don’t have to worry about legal risks or administrative complexity.
What the Client Company Does
While Remote People employs you legally, the client company manages your work. This includes:
Setting your daily tasks and goals
Supervising your projects
Evaluating your performance
Deciding on your compensation, bonuses and commissions, benefits and non statutory insurances
Providing tools, systems, and communication relevant to your role
Think of Remote People as your legal home, and the client company as your professional workplace.
