What Are Payroll Cut-Off Dates?
Payroll cut-off dates are fixed deadlines each month that determine the last day you can submit any payroll-related changes for processing in the current pay cycle. These changes may include:
Expense reimbursements
Salary adjustments
Bonus or commission payments
Other payroll updates
Why do they matter?
The cut-off date applies to both employers and employees because it directly impacts payroll accuracy and pay dates. Any changes submitted after the cut-off date will be processed in the following month without exception.
Special Note for December:
During December, cut-off dates are scheduled earlier than usual to accommodate year-end closures and holiday periods for our internal teams and global payroll partners.
To help you plan ahead, we're sharing the global cut-off dates for payroll changes for each month of 2026. All updates must be submitted through the Remote People Portal by the specified cut-off date.
Any changes made after the cut-off date will be processed in the following month.
Please note: For employees hired through our partner network listed below, different cut-off dates apply. These are exceptions and should be followed accordingly.

How to Check Your Partner Status
When reviewing your employment agreement, you might notice that the employer name listed is different from Remote People Global Technology. This is because Remote People works with partners to manage employment locally.
Your agreement will show the name of the partner acting as your legal employer. For example, SERVIAP or one of the others listed above.
To confirm your partner:
Open your employment agreement.
Look for the Employer Name section.
If the name is not Remote People Global Technology, it might match one of the partner names provided in this guide and that is the cut off date that applies to your payroll.
