To make contractual changes for an employee, such as updating salary, modifying a job title, extending an agreement, or requesting another type of amendment, initiate the process through the Remote People platform.
Navigate to the People tab in the Remote People platform. Locate and click on the name of the employee for whom you would like to request a contractual change.
Click the Actions button in the upper-right corner.
From the dropdown menu, select Change Contract.
In the Amendment Type section, select the type of contractual change you would like to request:
Salary Increase – Enter the updated Annual Gross Income
Please note: Salary increases cannot be backdated and can only take effect from the 1st day of the following month due to payroll processing timelines.Job Title Change – Enter the employee’s new job title
Renewal – Enter the new contract End Date
Other – Provide a clear description of the requested change
Select the Effective Date for the amendment.
Please note:
Job Title Changes can take effect as early as the next calendar day
Salary Increases must take effect from the 1st day of the following month
After completing all required fields, click Continue.
Review the information carefully on the summary page, then click Submit to send your request.
Once submitted, our specialist team will review the request and prepare the contract amendment.
You will be able to review and approve the amendment before it is sent to the employee for signature.
