Introducing HRIS Integrations

Managing employee data just got easier! With our new HRIS Integration feature, you can seamlessly connect your existing HRIS platform to Remote People. This means less manual entry, faster onboarding, and a smoother experience for your team.

By enabling HRIS integration, you’ll unlock the ability to:

  • Pull employee details directly from your HRIS when creating new hire requests

  • Pre-fill job and personal information in onboarding forms

  • Keep essential employee data synced daily for accuracy and efficiency

This feature is designed to save time, reduce errors, and give you confidence that your data is always up to date through a secure connection.

Where to Find HRIS Integrations

HRIS integrations are located in your platform under Settings → Integrations

If you do not see the Integrations tab, please reach out to our Support team to request access.


Starter List of HRIS Platforms

Our platform supports integration with the following HRIS providers in the MVP:

  • BambooHR

  • HiBob

  • Personio

  • Dayforce

  • Workday

  • Paylocity

  • Justworks

If your HRIS is not listed, please let us know for potential future additions.

How to Integrate HRIS

Follow these steps to connect your HRIS account:

1. Open the Integration Menu

  • Log in as an Admin.

  • Go to Settings > Integrations.

2. Select Your HRIS

  • Click the HRIS platform you want to connect.

  • This opens the integration setup page.

  • Click Connect

3. Authenticate Your HRIS Account

  • Enter your subdomain and Admin credentials (username and password).

  • Approve any access requests to enable data sharing.


4. Complete the Integration

  • Click Next after authentication.

  • The system will connect and start employee mapping automatically.


FAQs

Which data is pre-filled from HRIS?
Job: Start date, job title, job description, line manager, salary

Personal: Name, gender, date of birth, marital status, emergency contact

Can it be used use for bulk hires?
Yes, multi-select supports batch creation of onboardings.

What if HRIS data changes after prefill?
Manual edits override.

Is this available for all HRIS providers?
Currently supports BambooHR, HiBob, Personio, Dayforce, Workday. Others are on the roadmap—please suggest alternatives if unsupported.

How to disable the feature?
In Settings → Integrations, disconnect HRIS.
