If you receive a notice from the Pag-IBIG office that your remittances are remaining unposted due to discrepancies in your membership records, you'll need to update your information directly with Pag-IBIG.
Why remittances remain unposted
Remittances are the monthly Pag-IBIG contributions your employer sends on your behalf. When there's a mismatch between the employee information your employer submitted and your official Pag-IBIG membership record, the contributions cannot be credited to your account—even though the money has been paid.
Common reasons for discrepancies include:
Incomplete initial Pag-IBIG registration
Name changes due to marriage that weren't updated in Pag-IBIG records
Outdated marital status (single vs. married) on file
What you need to do
The steps depend on whether you need to complete your initial registration or update existing information.
If you need to complete your Pag-IBIG registration
If your registration was never completed:
Accomplish the Member's Data Form (MDF)
Attach a copy of a valid government-issued ID
Submit the documents to your nearest Pag-IBIG branch
Present the original ID for validation
If you need to update your membership details
If your marital status changed or other personal details need updating:
Accomplish the Member's Change of Information Form (MCIF)
Attach a photocopy of the supporting document (e.g., Marriage Certificate for marital status changes)
Attach a photocopy of a valid government-issued ID
Submit the documents to your nearest Pag-IBIG branch
Present the original supporting documents and ID for validation
After updating your records
Once you've completed the update at a Pag-IBIG branch, send a copy of your updated Member's Data Form (MDF) or proof of update to Remote People support at support@remotepeople.com
This allows us to update our records and ensure future remittances are posted correctly to your Pag-IBIG account.
Important: You are responsible for keeping your Pag-IBIG membership details current. Update your records whenever you experience life events like marriage, name changes, or address changes to avoid contribution posting issues.
