Additional special non-working days: 49th ASEAN Summit (NCR only)
Under Proclamation No. 1447, November 16, 17, and 18, 2026 have been declared Special (Non-Working) Days throughout the National Capital Region (NCR), to accommodate the 49th ASEAN Summit.
These dates apply specifically to employees based in the NCR, including Remote People employees whose registered address is in Taguig. They do not apply nationwide, unlike the regular and special non-working holidays listed above.
For private-sector employees, these dates follow the standard DOLE rules for Special Non-Working Days:
The "no work, no pay" principle applies only to daily-paid employees.
Employees required to work on these dates should be paid the applicable special-day premium.
