If an employee's name on the EPFO portal does not match the name on their Aadhaar card, it can cause difficulties in processing contributions or withdrawals. To resolve this mismatch, employees need to take the following steps:

  1. Log in to the EPFO Portal:
    Access your account on the official EPFO portal.

  2. Submit a Joint Declaration:
    Use the option on the portal to upload a joint declaration requesting the correction of your name.

  3. Inform Remote People Support:
    After submitting the declaration, notify the Remote People support team by sending an email to support@joinhorizons.com.

  4. Approval by Remote People:
    Remote People will then proceed with the approval of the change request on the EPFO portal.


This process ensures that your EPFO records align with your Aadhaar details, helping to avoid future issues with your provident fund.
