Annual Leave Entitlements
General Establishments
Shops, Commercial, Industrial Establishments, Factories, and Road Transport: Employees are entitled to one day of leave for every 18 days of work, which approximates to 20 days per year.
Tea Plantations
Tea Plantation Workers: Employees are entitled to one day of leave for every 22 days of work.
Newspaper Workers
Newspaper Workers: Employees are entitled to one day of leave for every 11 days of work.
Carrying Forward Unused Leave
Cap on Unused Leave:
For factory or road transport workers, unused leave may be carried forward with a cap of 40 days.
