In Argentina, employees are entitled to annual leave based on their length of service. Here’s a breakdown of the annual leave entitlements:
Minimum Annual Leave
0 to 5 Years of Employment: 14 days
5 to 10 Years of Employment: 21 days
10 to 20 Years of Employment: 28 days
More than 20 Years of Employment: 35 days
Accrual of Leave
First Year: Leave is pro-rated based on the number of months worked during the first year.
From the Second Year: Employees are entitled to the full number of leave days as specified above.
Accumulation and Carry-Over
Accrued Leave: Employees can accumulate leave and carry it over to the next year.
Expiration: Leave must be used within 15 months from the date it is accrued. Any leave not taken within this period may expire.
These provisions ensure that employees have adequate time off based on their years of service and can manage their leave entitlements effectively.
