When Might You Need a Business Visa?

You may require a business visa if you are travelling for:

  • Business meetings

  • Training sessions

  • Conferences or events

  • Client visits

  • Work related business activities

Many embassies or consulates require:

  1. An invitation letter from the company you are visiting

  2. Proof of employment from your employer

What Remote People Can Provide

As your Employer of Record, Remote People can issue an official employment support letter to help confirm your employment details.

This letter may include:

  • Your employment relationship with Remote People

  • Your job title

  • Your employment start date

  • Your official employment location

  • Confirmation that your travel is related to legitimate business activities

This document is intended to support your visa application process.

Important Limitation

Remote People is not the host company for your trip.

This means we cannot issue the official invitation letter required by many embassies or consulates.

The invitation letter must come directly from the company or organization you will be visiting.

What Remote People Cannot Do

As an Employer of Record, Remote People cannot:

  • Issue invitation letters for business travel

  • Act as the host company in the destination country

  • Sponsor visas that require a local inviting entity

  • Guarantee visa approval

  • Influence embassy or consulate decisions

  • Arrange meetings or business activities with the receiving company

  • Communicate directly with embassies or consulates on your behalf

What You Need to Do Before Applying

Step 1: Obtain an Invitation Letter

Contact the company or organization you will be visiting and request an official invitation letter.

This is usually provided by:
