You can download your employment certificate directly from the Remote People platform by following the steps below.
Step 1: Log In to the Remote People Platform
Access the Remote People portal and log in using your account credentials.
Once logged in, navigate to My Profile.
Step 2: Open the Actions Menu
Within your profile, locate and click the Actions button.
A dropdown menu will appear with additional options.
Step 3: Select “Employment Certificates”
From the dropdown menu, select Employment Certificates.
The platform will automatically generate your employment certificate, which will then be available for download directly from the portal.
This automated process helps ensure your document is generated quickly and accurately.
Alternatively, you can download your Employment Certificate in Other>Documents section.
Scroll down to find Employment Certificate and click Download.
China (Simplified Chinese) — Stamped Certificate Flow
If you are a Mainland China employee requesting an Employment Certificate in Simplified Chinese (简体中文), a special flow applies due to the requirement for an official company stamp.
How it works:
When you select Employment Certificates from the Actions menu, you'll be prompted to choose English or 简体中文 (Simplified Chinese).
If you choose Simplified Chinese, the platform automatically generates the certificate and routes it for an official company stamp. You'll see a message: "Chinese Employment Certificate requires an official company stamp" explaining that it will be sent for stamping online and you'll be notified once it's ready.
While stamping is in progress, the 简体中文 button will be disabled (shown with a clock icon) and the modal will display "Your Chinese Employment Certificate is being stamped." You cannot request a new Chinese certificate during this time, but English certificates remain available.
Once the stamping is complete, the document syncs back automatically. The modal updates to "Your Chinese Employment Certificate has been stamped" and shows a Download stamped certificate button, plus a Request again option if you need a fresh copy.
The stamped certificate is also automatically synced to your Documents tab, and you'll receive an email notification.
Important: Unlike other languages which provide instant downloads, Simplified Chinese certificates require an async stamping process and will not be available immediately.
