In Armenia, the structure of probation periods is straightforward and regulated by law:
Maximum Duration: The probation period can be set for a maximum of 3 months. Employers are not allowed to extend it beyond this limit.
Non-Renewable for Shorter Durations: If a probation period is agreed for less than 3 months, it cannot be extended. Once a shorter period is set (e.g., 1 or 2 months), it remains fixed and cannot be renewed to reach the full 3-month limit.
